Duo Marathon Running

Our mission is to inspire children with physical challenges to believe in themselves and their abilities and to help them achieve their goals.

One of the ways we accomplish our mission is by supporting athletes with physical challenges in their pursuit of athletic excellence. Two such athletes, Andrew McAllister and Ross Ormond, are competing in the Abbott World Marathon Six Star Challenge. This challenge involves running six of the world's most prestigious marathons, including the Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, and New York City marathons. And not only that, they will be the FIRST ever to complete all six as a Duo Team.

Andrew and Ross's achievement is even more remarkable because Andrew has cerebral palsy, a neurological disorder that affects movement and coordination. Ross pushes Andrew solo for all 26.2 miles. Despite their challenges, they have completed four of the six, finishing second overall in the Chicago Marathon, first in the New York City Marathon, and first in the London Marathon, and by setting a personal best time of 3:15 they finished in first place in Berlin. The Duo hopes to complete the Tokyo Marathon and the Boston Marathon in the near future.

Your support can help us continue to provide resources and opportunities for athletes like Andrew and Ross, as well as help us promote greater inclusion for individuals with disabilities in all areas of life. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference.
